F I V E

I'm posting this a little later than I would have liked to originally but, better late than never I guess!

Colby celebrated his 5th Birthday on September 2nd. Is he really 5? I struggled with this birthday, I don't know why. Well, actually I do. I look back on the last 5 years and think about how quickly it went and the things I feel like I've missed. I mean, he's going to be in Kindergarten next year. How is it really possible that my little 7lb 8oz baby boy is FIVE?!?!

Ok, enough! I'm going to start crying.

On Colby's actual Birthday we took him out for dinner at Texas Roadhouse. He was a little charmer that night and convinced one of the waitresses there to be his girlfriend. He asked to take a photo with her and everything! He also got to ride the saddle while they shouted his Birthday throughout the restaurant.

We had his Birthday party later that weekend. Trevor put up all of his hunting decoys and a hunting blind out in the back yard. We got toy bow & arrows for all of the kids and had a big hunting party! We also had craft time and all of the kids got to make their own binoculars. What would I do without Pinterest???

Colby really enjoyed playing with his friends and family. It was the first party I hosted without having a ton of food or a full meal for everyone and I'm not going to lie, it was glorious! I was able to visit with our guests and really watch my son enjoy his Birthday! We topped of the party with homemade camouflage cupcakes, made by yours truly :)

Boo Boo & Charlee had to get in on the fun too!

Colby really loved his new guitar! He also got a new belt, boots, and some really fun toys!
